  • All products come with a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
  • Within the first 6 months from delivery, we will attempt to repair the item or organise a replacement; and any damage will be assessed by a third party furniture servicing and repair company to ascertain the cause and extent of the damage.
  • After the first 6 months, it’s your responsibility to prove that it’s faulty and that any problems are a manufacturer fault.
  • Any products which are not of reasonable quality due to manufacturing errors will be repaired or replaced as subject to the terms of our warranty 
  • Whether the item(s) will be repaired or replaced will be determined by management and our suppliers. Replacements must be for the same item unless the specific item is unavailable.


Any customers that are unhappy with their order can return the product in its original packaging to our warhouse within 14 days of delivery for a refund minus the cost of delivery and collection.

Please not that Made to order ( bespoke items )  items may only be cancelled if the item has not already been made or completed as we take a deposit on all made to order items to cover any cost incurred for such events as this is a cost to us for making the sofa with materials & labour your deposit will be un refundable due to the T&C’s  you agree to upon ordering and time scales may vary for delivery on made to order items 2-3 weeks approx. Any bespoke made to order item is none returnable and will not be granted any refund as they are made to order items and are clearly marked on terms and conditions before ordering that once they are made, they are not returnable or refundable due to the nature of the order please see our terms and conditions page for more info.

If you order the wrong colour or sofa variation (wrong way around) or incorrect sizes, then we are not liable for this and it is the customers full responsibility to ensure they order the correct sofa and orientation or colour and measure correct first and we have the right to refuse the sofas back or if we do accept to have them exchanged then the cost of collection and re delivery is paid fully by the customer. We don’t accept returns on incorrect ordering only exchanges for like for like or if no longer available one of a similar model and price and any price difference is also paid by the customer.

If we send the items wrong and our notes, call recording prove it was our fault then we will exchange as no extra cost for the same model/range if the items are unused and in there original packaging.

Bed are not returnable unless a manufacture fault is confirmed, if you have been sent the wrong order you must notify us straight away within 24 hours and make sure you keep the bed in its original packaging unused.

All exchanges and returns are subject to a collection/exchange fee and the original delivery fee is non-refundable.

We reserve the right to refuse the return if the item has been damaged by the customer on or after delivery.

For assistance with a completed order please contact our support team by sending an email to with a copy of your receipt, pictures of any issues with a product and a brief description of the issue.

If you wish to cancel your order but it has already been processed or a delivery has been booked, you will be charged a cancellation fee of up to the cost of delivery.


Any customers who are unhappy with their order can exchange the items for an alternative within 14 days of delivery, provided the original items are unused and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse the exchange should the item be damaged by the customer on or after delivery.

All exchanges are subject to a £50 admin fee plus an additional delivery fee of £99 and the original delivery fee is non-refundable.

Customers will have to pay the price difference for the exchange of items which are a higher price.

Exchanges will be refused on collection if the items to be returned have been used or damaged by customers.

All our products come with a 1-year manufacturer’s guarantee excluding ex-display models, unless otherwise stated. The guarantee starts from the date of delivery and offers cover against manufacturing defects or any defects which may arise, under normal use, through faulty factory workmanship, including sofa bed and recliner mechanisms. For more detail see our Warranty Page. This does not affect your legal rights.

If a faulty product needs to be returned, and is proven to be a manufacturer fault, then there will be no additional charges for delivery.

Ex display models are not subject to our manufacturer’s guarantee unless specifically stated, as they will have been used for some time. These models may have some damage which is taken into account in the price. You should carefully inspect any ex display models to ensure you are aware of any issues. This does not affect your legal rights.

In the event of a complaint from a sale where finance was the payment method we will work to resolve this in-house with you and in line with the Financial Conduct Authority ( & Financial Ombudsman Service ( requirements.

Deductions can be made to your refund for excessive wear and tear or non – manufacturing related damage. In the rare instance that this happens, we would get in touch with you to advise of the deduction once the returned product has been thoroughly inspected.

The guarantee does not cover: Any damage caused by wear and tear – this includes flat or saggy cushions. Natural colour fading caused by prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Movement of wardrobe infill or worktop caused by the natural movement of the house’s structure for installations over 30 days old. This also includes the settlement of furniture if fitted on top of the carpet. Fitting of any small item replacements, for example, handles, hanging rails, etc. Electrical and light fittings, bulbs, mirrors, and glass. Door and drawer adjustments and caulking, refitting of drawers removed from drawer runners. Accidental damage caused as a result of unexpected and non-deliberate action. If the furniture is required to be removed from the room’s structure the warranty does not cover re-decoration or damage to flooring. This will be the responsibility of the consumer to make good. All consumables required to replace faulty parts will be charged for; these include, but are not limited to, screws, filler, brackets, etc. Any fitting issues reported outside of 30 days from original installation date

  • The warranty entitles customers to a repair or replacement for all goods which are faulty as a result of a manufacturing defect.
  • All customers must submit photo and/or video evidence along with information about the issues with the item(s) for our suppliers to review.
  • Based on the information and evidence provided by customers, our suppliers will determine whether a repair or replacement is the most appropriate solution.

What the warranty includes:

  • Manufacturing defect including issues or damage to the item that are the result of poor workmanship by the manufacturer.
  • This includes any manufacturing defects which result in the goods not being fit for purpose, of good quality, or as described.
  • Any damage that occurs before the product has been delivered to the customer. Customers are required to inspect the product on delivery and report any damage or issues with the sofa while the delivery team is still present. Any damage reported after the delivery team vacate the area will be acted upon at the discretion of Affordable Sofas.

What the warranty excludes:

  • Any damaged caused by the customer on or after delivery of the item
  • Any damage resulting from standard wear and tear of the item
  • Any damage resulting from misuse or failure to take proper care of the item
  • Any damage caused by washing items. Please see our product care information

Product Care

  • We recommend that customers hand wash items to decrease the risk of items becoming damaged.
  • Any items washed in a washing machine should be washed on delicate/gentle cycle in cold water.
  • While sofas and beds come with a 12-month manufacturer guarantee, customers should refrain from jumping on or stacking heavy objects on our products as this may cause the frames of the item to break.
